Teresa Sande
Teresa Sande is CEO of The Agenda Group, LLC which she founded in 2006. She has 15 years experience working with large and small organizations on executive leadership, team development, communication strategies, and organizational change management. While working with people from all walks of life, she has had the particular enjoyment of working with various executives and CEOs, coaching them to be their best.
Ms. Sande brings a unique approach to the work she does and believes you need humor in almost every situation. She currently consults with small, mid and large sized companies to develop culture, values, purpose, and talent management processes and systems. Teresa also delivers classes, workshops and speaking engagements on topics including Change Management, Executive Communication Presence, and Impostor Syndrome.
While in various organizational roles throughout her career that included internal communication, training & development, people systems, and organizational effectiveness, she was consistently called upon for one very important skill. She later came to learn that the skill she leveraged through nearly everything she did was called “coaching”. At that point, Teresa officially incorporated it into her job descriptions and found opportunities whenever possible to leverage the tool in her toolkit. She has found it to be the #1 thing that accomplishes outstanding results in all of the situations she has worked in.
Teresa received her formal coach training from Coach U after performing as an internal coach for three different Fortune 500 companies. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She also received her Master’s degree in Organizational Communication and Effectiveness from the University of New Mexico. Teresa is an active member of The Downtown Women's Club, Melcrum, The International Association of Business Communicators, and the Society of Human Resources. In addition, she is a Cornell Diversity Program graduate and founder of the Boise Chapter Downtown Women’s Club networking group. In 2005, Ms. Sande was awarded the Women in Industry Award for accomplished women in business.
Teresa is currently writing a book on the topic of Impostor Syndrome to assist women in business rise to the top without any of their own limiting beliefs getting in the way. She lives in the state of Idaho and enjoys hiking in nature with her husband and 2 dogs, riding her bike and floating tubes along the Boise River in the summer, and coaching people to their fullest potential!
